I discovered this book through children's librarian, Lisa Hartzell. She told me it would be a good one and she didn't disappoint me. Bugs, Bogs, Bats, and Books was written by Kathleen Isaacs and includes hundreds of recommendations for children's books and related nature-based activities. I used my iPhone to record and the lighting was awful but hopefully the review itself will be helpful.

Fall comes quickly but there are many great books for making nature-literacy connections. Start planning early. Leaf Man by Lois Elhert is one of my favorites.
